When knowledge narrows your view
When I studied film, at some point I just got tired of watching.
Now I notice something similar with AI. I spend my days helping people prompt better, yet I sometimes do it laughably lazily. "Custom GPTs handle most of the heavy lifting anyway." Sure.
That may be the byproduct of expertise: you know how much effort you can save. Efficient, but dull.
Sometimes it helps to act like you know nothing again.
To look, instead of to know.
